The class is taught by an experienced doula who has assisted women in all manner of labours and deliveries. She also has experience with most major hospitals and is respectful of all birth choices.

Comfort Measures Classes - $100.00
This unique 3 hour class includes, discussion of the stages and phases of labour. Practicing comfort measures and pain management techniques to use throughout your labour. Discussion of medication available for labour, the advantages and disadvantages to using medication in labour and when it is best to choose them. Discussion of interventions commonly used in labour and how to avoid them. What to take to the hospital. What a birth plan is and how to prepare one.
Can be added to the basic doula package for a well rounded birthing experience.
Private Hypnobirthing Classes - $400.00
You will gain an understanding of how the birthing muscles work in perfect harmony-as they were designed to-when your body is sufficiently relaxed. You will learn to achieve this kind of relaxation, free of resistance that fear creates, and you will learn to use your natural birthing instincts for a calm, serene and comfortable birth. These classes are spread over 5 x 2.5 hour sessions and will include instruction on self hypnosis, information on labour and delivery, the Hypnobirthing book by Marie Mongan, a CD and all other course material.

Private Breastfeeding classes - $150.00
Are you a first-time parent planning to breastfeed your baby? Did you have a hard time nursing your first baby and want to get off to the right start this time? If so, this is the class for you. We teach this class in 2.5 hours in the privacy of your own home.

Birth Plan Consultation - $80.00
This service includes access to our lending library (with a returnable deposit cheque), one in-person pre-natal two-hour meeting with phone support.
If you are not sure whether you would like to have a Doula attend your birth, but you would like assistance with your birth plan, we can help you identify steps you can take towards a positive birth experience. If you decide that you would like to purchase a Doula package, this cost will go towards the package and the birth plan will count as one prenatal visit. If have special circumstances that make this a hardship, we can discuss other options. You deserve a carefully crafted birth plan to carry out your vision and prepare for the unexpected. Makes a great baby shower gift.
Breastfeeding Consult in Hospital - $80.00
One time in hospital breastfeeding consult to establish the best breastfeeding practices for ease of transition as laid out by the World Health Organization. Attended within one day after birth.
Placenta Preparation - $200.00 prepared in your home. $250.00 pick up and drop off.
Full preparation, dehydration and encapsulation of the placenta.
