Doula supporting their pregnant client

Toronto Birth Doulas Packages

Birth and birth support should be as unique as you are.  No birthing parent has the same wishes for their birth or the same needs.  So we've created several packages to fit your unique needs and desires for your birth.

Your birth experience is our top priority.  Your birth can feel calm, and beautiful.  Your support person can also benefit from doula support, being that extra set of hands so they can focus on you while the doula takes care of making you both comfortable and suggesting tips and techniques to help your labour progress.

Frequently Asked Questions

1

What happens during our prenatal visits

During our first prenatal we will discuss your birth wishes and add to any prenatal education you have had.  We will also discuss anything else that comes up organically, especially if you are concerned or worried about anything. We want to make sure all your questions are answered and you feel comfortable moving forward with your birth and postpartum journey.

What is the difference between a doula and a midwife or OB?

Doulas do not replace midwives or OBs. Those are medical care providers and Doulas are non-medical. We support you and your partner with emotional, informational and physical support. We also don't replace partners. We are an extra set of  unbiased hands to help your entire birthing team.

What if you aren't available for my birth?

While we don't take a huge amount of clients each month. Kim only takes one client each month. Kim and Steph back either other up and we also have another super experienced doula who supports us as well.

We will always have someone available if the odd chance occurs that your doula isn't available to support you.

I’m a first-time mom, and as we all know, going into something so new can feel overwhelming. Kim was absolutely amazing and supportive every step of the way. She took the time to explain things clearly, helped me make informed decisions about my birth plan, and always made me feel heard. She is so patient, non-judgmental, and accepting. During labor, she was by my side the entire time in the hospital, making the whole experience much more pleasant and manageable. I truly felt like what I wanted mattered because of her support. I would recommend Kim to anyone looking for guidance and care during pregnancy, labor, or postpartum. Thank you so much, Kim! 🫶🏽
